Aritzia hiring 1,500 seasonal workers ahead of annual warehouse sale

The Vancouver fashion retailer is recruiting cashiers, wrappers, team leads and general associates ahead of its annual warehouse sale this summer.

For many Vancouver shoppers, Aritzia‘s annual Warehouse Sale is a summer ritual. For job seekers, it’s also shaping up to be a major hiring opportunity.

The Vancouver-founded fashion retailer announced this week that it’s looking to hire more than 1,500 seasonal associates ahead of its 2026 Warehouse Sale, one of the city’s most anticipated retail events.

To fill those positions, Aritzia will host a three-day hiring event at the Vancouver Convention Centre’s East Building from June 24 to 26—running from noon to 5pm. The company is recruiting for a range of roles, including cashiers, wrappers, team leads and general associates. Hourly wages range from $18.50 to $24, depending on the position.

Previous retail experience isn’t required, according to the company. Applicants are encouraged to apply online in advance and bring a résumé to the hiring event.

While Aritzia has yet to announce the dates of this year’s Warehouse Sale, the event has become a Vancouver retail spectacle in its own right. Each year, shoppers line up for hours outside the cavernous sale venue before diving into a sea of clothing racks, booming hip-hop music and bargain hunters on the hunt for steep discounts. Equal parts shopping trip and endurance sport, the Warehouse Sale is known for its long queues, sensory overload and chaotic energy.

For those willing to brave the crowds from the other side of the cash register, the roles offer a front-row seat to one of the city’s most frenzied shopping traditions.
