BCITMA Think/Share Vancouver Guilt & Co. in Gastown February 8, 2012 If you tweet, you may have come across the trending topic #digitalshift. This was the Twitter handle for Think/Share Vancouver: The Digital Shift, a new speaker series dedicated to the city’s advertising and marketing industry. Organized by the BCIT Marketing Association (BCITMA), it's a fresh take on the conventional networking event, bringing together students and industry top dogs in a casual setting.

Gastown’s eclectic Guilt & Co. lounge was the scene of the series’ launch, and Bob Kronbauer, president of Vancouver is Awesome Inc., hosted the sold-out event. Featured speakers included Dave Olsen of Hootsuite, Darren Yada of Rethink and Chris Walts of Tribal DDB Vancouver. The digitally minded crowd discussed brand management through social media.
