Jack Poole Dead at Age 76

Jack Wilson Poole, the chairman of the Vancouver Organizing Committee and a long-time developer, died, of pancreatic cancer, in the early hours of Friday, October 23, 2009, in Vancouver. He was 76.

His was an example of leadership, strength and integrity that is unmatched in my recollection.”
