20-hour direct flights with a gym on-board prepare for takeoff

Qantas Airways could be the first to offer a 20-hour flight. Qantas CEO Alan Joyce says Boeing Co. and Airbus SE have each managed to design a plane able to fly from Sydney to London or New York direct. So-called Project Sunrise, which came up with an aircraft that could transport 300 passengers, their luggage and enough fuel for emergencies, is scheduled to be tested in 2022, according to Bloomberg. Cabin interiors may include bunks, child-care facilities and even a gym.
