Competition Details

Nominees must be women who live and work in British Columbia

Nominees may work for private, public sector or non-profit organizations

Candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else

There is no charge to enter or nominate a candidate

Entries close on December 30, 2019

Leader

How has the nominee demonstrated vision and leadership throughout her career and in her current position?

Innovator

What innovations or creative approaches has the nominee introduced? How has she broken new ground?

Community Builder

In what ways does the nominee contribute to the community?

Rising Star

What has the nominee accomplished in her early career that sets her apart and indicates potential for future success?

 

How to Apply

The application is a two-part process:

  2. We’ll email you the entry form to fill out. Complete the form and submit it]. 

Applicants must be available to be interviewed and photographed in January 2020 and to attend the awards ceremony in April (actual date TBD).

Important note: If a nominee becomes a Women of the Year finalist, we will use the information from the nomination form and interview to prepare a profile for potential publication in the April 2020 issue of BCBusiness. If you provide financial, personal and other details that you wish keep on background or off the record, it is your responsibility to let us know. BCBusiness makes every effort to ensure accuracy, but we do not share stories with sources before publication.
