Why young tech hires are leaving Canada
Canada is facing yet another loss of talent, this time with about 40 percent of science and technology graduates from top universities are leaving the country to get a better employment in the United States. They mostly go for companies like Amazon, Microsoft and Google in Silicon Valley. The reason may be that employers in Canada failed to realize their full potential as young and talented graduates are being overlooked in their own country. Although many attempts have been made to attract those talents, 70 percent of employers in Canada are still having a hard time filling entry-level positions.
