Vessi
The shoe company will be opening in Burnaby next month.
Even though it hasn’t particularly felt like it just yet, we’re now into fall in B.C. For many, that means finally trading in the open-toe kicks that you’ve been rocking for a pair of waterproof shoes from Vancouver-based Vessi.
If you don’t have a pair in your closet already, you might want to head out to Burnaby soon. That’s because Vessi, which launched in 2018 and calls itself the “world’s first waterproof shoes,” is launching its first retail outlet, in Metropolis at Metrotown, in November.
The popular retailer—it’s sold over a million shoes—will be in the upper level of the mall, occupying the former Call It Spring space. Customers can expect limited edition items that will only be available in-store and interactive features that let you put Vessi’s shoes to the waterproof test.
Vessi, co-founded by Mikaella Go, Tony Yu and Andy Wang, will also be hiring for the store and is looking for retail staff in both full-time and part-time positions. Candidates are encouraged to visit vessi.com//careers for more information.
