Residents won’t believe it, but the British Columbia Real Estate Association says the Metro Vancouver real estate market will begin to slow down by late next year.
In a report, the BCREA estimates that available suites in new apartment projects should see an increase from fewer than 4,000 units per quarter in 2016 to about 6,000 by winter 2018.
Having more suites available for purchase will create many rental opportunities, the authors say.
