Adam Kreek knows how to set and achieve a goal. The Victoria-based management consultant was a member of the Canadian rowing team that won a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. (He’s also recovered from setbacks: as he and friends tried to row across the Atlantic, they capsized in the Bermuda Triangle.) In The Responsibility Ethic: 12 Strategies Exceptional People Use to Do the Work and Make Success Happen, Kreek draws on his own experiences to show how to succeed using the CLEAR (collaborative, limited, emotional, appreciable, refinable) method for goal setting and strategic planning.
