“The Dorothies,” a pair of 81-year-old Kerrisdale homes, purportedly named after wives of the original owners, were moved today to a new location a couple of blocks away. The homes, originally situated on West 43rd Avenue near MacKenzie Street, were slated for demolition but won a last-minute reprieve when developer Trasolini Chetner Construction + Development found a new site for them on West 41st Avenue near MacDonald Street.
