TED 2014 | BCBusinessMonday’s event kicked off with talks from the 21 TED delegates.
Monday’s session kicked off with talks from the 21 TED fellows, and tours of the city by some of the delegates, including a pit stop at D-Wave Systems Inc.’s Burnaby headquarters.
The event formally kicks off this evening with a keynote from Chris Hadfield. That session starts at 6 p.m., featuring talks from MIT media lab founder Nicholas Negroponte, education activist Ziauddin Yousafzai and DJ Mark Ronson. TED will simulcast the first session at a number of libraries and schools around the Lower Mainland.
If you want to catch a talk or two on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, they’ll be shown at the location listed below. Heads up: Bill Gates, Melinda Gates and Sting will all give talks Tuesday evening between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.
