Despite a tough economic climate in 2024, a few B.C. sectors saw standout growth. Retail and real estate posted big wins, with Lululemon Athletica and Anthem Properties making impressive revenue gains. Crown corporations like BC Housing Management Commission and ICBC also posted strong numbers, buoyed by public demand and stable mandates. But the year’s biggest success story was gold: precious metals producers surged thanks to rising global prices and investor confidence.
