When ChatGPT launched, Georgiy Sekretaryukwas wrapping up a master’s in data science at UC Berkeley while juggling AI consulting work on the side. Overnight, Sekretaryuk’s inbox lit up. Founders, investors and executives all wanted the same thing: help with implementing AI inside their organizations. The requests quickly outpaced what one person could handle—Overdrive was born out of that moment.
An AI intelligence studio, Overdrive helps companies design, deploy and scale AI systems that automate decision-making and operational work—everything from sourcing and screening promising startups for venture funds to building internal tools that replace hours of manual analysis. Sekretaryuk describes the firm as an implementation partner for a new era of work: integrating public and private AI models, customizing workflows and embedding automation directly into how teams operate—ultimately eliminating mundane tasks so organizations can focus on doing what matters most.
Sekretaryuk’s instinct to build came early. At just 17, he co-founded Nero Jewelry, a smart safety accessory that could discreetly call for help—his first exposure to prototyping, customer discovery and failure. Those lessons compound today. In just over a year, Overdrive has served more than 35 clients across five continents, built thousands of automations and grown revenue by 61 percent quarter over quarter.
Along with his co-founders, Sekretaryuk is scaling Overdrive where demand is strongest—across Europe and the U.S.—while building momentum in Canada. Just as critical, he’s focused on attracting and retaining top AI talent to grow alongside clients as automation reshapes how work gets done.
