Jamaican patties, stylish candles, baked goods and more you can find at your local farmers market this year

If you‘re stuck for holiday shopping ideas, the local farmers market is a great place to browse: instead of big brands and questionable food court cuisine, you get handmade goods from local businesses and the best food trucks in town. 1. Bahamanada 

What they’re selling: Bahamian desserts! Bahamanda rum cake, guava steamed pudding, carrot cake and cassava bread pudding

2. Bali Bites 

What they’re selling: Indonesian peanut sauce and spicy chili sauces

3. Bannock Queen 

What they’re selling: Traditional Indigenous bannock, plus new adaptations like cheddar, green onion and tomato flatbread bannock (pictured above)

4. BC Garlic

What they’re selling: Almost every kind of garlic you can think of. Types on offer include Asian Tempest, Bogatyr and Chestnut Red (black garlic is sold out for now)
