It’s that time again: BCBusiness is looking for the best and brightest young minds in the business world, to showcase in our 30 Under 30 program.
Entries are now officially open for BCBusiness‘s 14th annual 30 Under 30 competition. Apply now for the chance to be named one of the province’s top young business leaders (and, of course, to be featured in print).
30 Under 30 winners will be highlighted in the March 2027 issue of BCBusiness magazine, and they must be under the age of 30 at the time of publishing: in other words, applicants must have a birthdate of March 1, 1997 or later.
A few things to note:
- Nominees must live and work in British Columbia.
- They may work for private, public sector or nonprofit organizations.
- We welcome and encourage nominees who are Black, Indigenous and people of colour.
How to apply for the 2027 BCBusiness 30 Under 30
The application is an online form that can be accessed here.
**The final deadline for applications is 11:59pm on Friday, November 6.**
This is your chance to show off: the application asks about your work, impact, innovations and community contributions. We also ask for the contact information of two references that can speak to your qualifications. Applicants must be available to be interviewed in late 2026.
A quick note on AI: One of the best ways to make your 30 Under 30 application stand out is to write it yourself. Last year, we noticed that many submissions appeared to be AI-generated, with the result being that a lot of them sounded remarkably similar, making it harder for applicants to distinguish themselves. We want to hear your voice. Tell us candidly about the experiences, challenges (and we know there are challenges!), wins and lessons that have shaped your journey. A genuine story will always be more memorable than a perfectly polished one!
