Photos: Highlights from the 2026 Women of the Year Awards

Browse photos from an unforgettable evening celebrating our seventh annual Women of the year Awards—honouring 23 of British Columbia's most influential leaders and changemakers.

On June 3, BCBusiness welcomed more than 200 guests to the Terminal City Club to celebrate the 23 winners of our 2026 Women of the Year Awards—the seventh annual flagship program of its kind. The evening honoured an exceptional group of leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers, including The Jilly Box’s Jillian Harris, Victoria Police Chief Fiona Wilson, The Forum CEO Christina Brown and philanthropist Cindy Beedie.

As always, the night was equal parts inspiring and entertaining. There were heartfelt speeches, standing ovations and plenty of new connections made. Rising Star winner Taylor Hui (founder of BeaYOUtiful Foundation) also earned an unofficial honour after arriving just days after welcoming a baby, prompting more than a few guests to suggest we add a “Baby of the Year” category to next year’s awards.

From first-time attendees to past winners and longtime supporters, the room buzzed with the kind of energy that comes from bringing together some of the most accomplished women in British Columbia.
