The City of Vancouver is looking for new bike racks that:
Are fun, functional and hold two bikes
Can be fabricated and installed cost-effectively
Reflect Vancouver in a creative and original way
A judging panel has reduced 450 submissions to six designs—and members of the public can check out prototypes and vote for their favourite at four locations from August 13 to 18.
The six finalists are:
North Shore Mountains
Guard Bird
Chickadee-dee-dee
Petal Rack (not to prejudice you, but the June People’s Choice winner)
Definitely Raining
Living Leaf
