Top Canadian CEOs earn 200 times an average worker’s salary

A report from the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives came to the conclusion that the top 100 Canadian CEOs at TSX-listed companies earned an average of $10.4 million in 2017.

That’s more than 200 times the average worker’s salary of $49,738, says the report.

“[CEOs] are now making your average pay prior to your second cup of coffee,” said report author David Macdonald.
