German automotive supplier Robert Bosch GmbH has formed a partnership with Vancouver-based Mojio, which is developing hardware and software that can turn an older model into a connected car. The partnership with Bosch, which also participated in Mojio’s most recent round of funding, should help the startup get wider distribution for its products and make use of the larger company’s customer service centres to help users of its technology get help when they’re involved in a fender bender. Mojio has already come a long way since founder Jay Giraud made this pitch to investors at the 2014 GROW conference in Whistler.
