Kyle Washington, best known as the executive chairman of shipbuilder and -operator Seaspan Marine Corp. and co-chair of affiliate Seaspan Corp., has made a “substantial” but undisclosed investment in BN3TH, a startup designer of men’s underwear. Formerly known as MyPackage, BN3TH has developed a patented design for handling, er, a man’s parts in superior comfort. “BN3TH is a brand I was drawn to as soon as I tried on my first pair,” Washington explained in a release. The company — which we assume is pronounced “beneath”? — also appointed a new CEO, former head of apparel for Adidas North America Ken Barker.
